Coach Hottel is starting his first year as the Linebackers and assistant OL coach for Central High School, his second year with the program. He attended William Jewell College in Liberty, MO on a football scholarship and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. 

Accumulating eighteen years of coaching experience, Coach Hottel adeptly balances the nuances of the game with a steadfast focus on fundamental skills development. He finds fulfillment in volunteering his time, recognizing the parallel between honing football skills and fostering essential life skills.

Beyond the field, he is the Controller for Fat Boys, Inc., which owns and operates Firehouse Brewing Company, Firehouse Wine Cellars, Que Pasa , and Wobbly Bobby British Pub and he shares his life with his wife Beth and their son Cole.
