Damon Macleary: Varsity Offensive Line
My name is Damon Macleary. I was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming where I competed in football and track. Upon completion of high school, I accepted a scholarship offer to play for Dakota Wesleyan University. During my time there I was a 4 year starter on the offensive line. I was fortunate to be a part of some of DWUs most successful years in football with multiple years ranked in the top 15 nationally as well as being rated a top 3 offense in the nation 3 out of 4 years. After college, I accepted my first teaching and coaching position in the Huron School District. During my time there I was part of many great squads with one state championship runner-up, multiple state semi-final appearances, and multiple all-state/all-conference offensive lineman. I then moved to Iowa and coached for 1 year at 5A Muscatine High School before moving to Rapid City. I will be going into my 3rd year coaching for the Cobblers.
Outside of football, I'm married to my wife Morgan Macleary who is a chiropractor. We also just welcomed our daughter Karsyn who will be 5 months old in the next few weeks. I also have two dogs (Barkley & Koda) and enjoy playing golf, watching sports, and being with the family.
I'm honored and excited to continue working with Rapid City Central. Go Cobblers!
