My name is Shay Roberts, and I am from Orange, New Jersey. I come from an athletic family and was introduced to sports as a baby. I first started playing baseball and basketball when I was 4 years old, and then football when I was 6. I graduated from Orange High School in 2016 as a 4-year Varsity Letter Winner in Baseball, 2-year Varsity Letter Winner in Football and with a 3.6 GPA.
Since graduating high school, football has given me every opportunity that I am blessed with today! I have played 2 seasons of D3 football and about 8 seasons of Semi-Pro football. I have played 3 seasons of Professional Indoor football for the Idaho Horsemen, Rapid City Marshals and Bismack Bucks. I also played Pro football overseas for the Jalisco Reyes in Mexico.
I graduated from William Paterson University in 2023 with a BA-Criminal Justice and a BA-Sociology (Social Services). I am going into my 4th year of coaching (2nd year at Central) and also my 3rd year playing for the Rapid City Marshals.

Lastly, I have a beautiful and loving daughter, Sayori Navy.
